Recently I visited CityDoc with the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had. From the start the staff was patient, helpful and quick to get me through reception. When I arrived I admit I wasn’t the easiest patient as all I wanted was someone to help ease my symptoms and help me feel better. I’ve never had a visit before where it almost feels like a family member is caring after you. The wait was faster than I anticipated, by far. Check in with as so easy. Nurse M. really interacted with me and made me feel like she really cares. I was overwhelmed with my symptoms in a new city, by myself, homesick and she made my day. Went in for an STD screening and the nurse and doctor made me feel so uncomfortable. All I told the nurse was that I wanted to get the labs done, nothing else. She leaves and the doctor comes in and the first things she said is “i understand you think you may have been in contact with someone who’s infected”. I’m like I never said that. I just wanted to get tested. That was very rude. There was no need to assume that or ever put words in my mouth. Why I wanted to get tested is irrelevant especially if I didn’t say it on my own.

I had some pretty severe symptoms, but I was embarrassed of going to urgent care during my vacation. But when the pain became too much I went in and they definitely made me feel like it was the right choice. The serviceable was really quick and staff all around was really nice. I also love that they asked, a student could help instead of just bringing him in. I’m always a big fan of education, but I am a bigger fan of politeness. If I were sick again, this would be the first place d go every single time.

Most of the staff was at lunch when I was there so the lady who handles the front office also did my test. She was fabulous from the start by keeping me informed about the timeline and conducting the test. The Dr/PA was ok.
