When the doctor came in the room, I explained what was wrong and he just didn’t seem to care he did a few examinations but didn’t really examine where I said it was hurting. Going to a different urgent care today. Hopefully I’ll get better results and more answers

Was not impressed with the bedside manner of the PA. He prescribed a medicine the would counter act qith my warfin. I would have never known but the person at Walmart would not fill it because of this. I called the office to let them know what he did. The MA said that they would call another one in but they would be closing so give it an hour for it to go through. I waited over an hour called the pharmacy and they told me nothing had come through yet. So at 6 I called the Broomfield office and they did a wonderful job. I got my medication. I feel that more supervision should be at that location in thornton. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THUS TO ANYONE.

Got food poisoning while traveling and booked an appointment the day of my return to be seen. The wait time was minimal and scheduling and pre paperwork were easy. I had no food or proper liquids for the past 3 days and am experiencing extreme vomiting and diarrhea. Intake was rushed, no bloodwork was done, I was given a stool sample kit to take home. They infiltrated the IV in my arm, causing swelling and pain, and I only got a quarter of a bag of fluid into my body. No hot compress or other help offered, no additional IV point offered to get me more fluid. They told me that in anti nausea meds were called into my pharmacy, which I just went to, and the pharmacy didn’t receive the prescription order. I will now need to call back to request that the prescription be sent again. Horrible experience when I already feel awful and have no energy. I had to pay $200 out of pocket even with insurance. I will likely just go to a different care facility tomorrow to actually get an IV and bloodwork done.

NextCare was able to get my daughter in for a rapid COVID test very quickly. While we were there, the physician suggested that we get her a rapid strep test and a rapid flu test. I totally forgot about strep throat and the flu when all we hear about is COVID. I was grateful for their recommendation. The staff was friendly, timely, and welcoming. I would highly recommend this facility and will plan on using it again.

The provider and staff are friendly and vèry helpful. They were though and explained what they were doing and the results of the tests. The downside was the length of wait time. 1 1/2 - 2 hrs was a bit much.

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

Went in for a Covid test. It was quick and efficient. They offered me holistic options, which is my preference, when it came back positive. Super friendly and caring.

- Verified patient on 10/25

I was nicely greeted at the front desk and the process for testing for COVID-19 was explained in an understandable manner. The practitioner was very prompt and helpful when she understood that I couldn’t hear her well on the video chat so she called me immediately all the while keeping a visual on me while she was dialing, I didn’t have to wait and wonder if she was going to call. The check in process was easy since I had done all the paperwork yesterday. The nurse who did my test was very friendly and personable and understanding that the test is not fun! Whole process was good and quick once I got to the appointment time. Thanks so much!

- Verified patient on 11/4

I was required to get a Covid test before going back to work. The process was easy and the staff was friendly. Processes were explained well. There was not an option upon check in that this was required by my work for return unless it was a physical, drug test, or work injury. I was wondering how this would affect my billing? Thanks for the great care.

We thought we had Covid. We called in, we were told the procedure, we did our online check in, drove to testing spot, a gal gave me & my husband a swab test, we were called & were both positive, explained to RX,s being subscribed and just like that we were home on started on the treatment plan. Excellent service, genuine, thorough & caring!!

My husband and I were tested for Covid as a requirement to travel internationally and the whole procedure went smoothly, from the swab test to getting the results in 15 minutes. Amy at reception was most helpful in setting up the appointment.

I set up appointment online, had to start over because apparently timed out when I was getting insurance card out to take a picture of it. Waited a couple minutes for provider to connect on phone. Had to call after waiting a few minutes for curbside test. Then provider came out and was very professional and efficient.

Video visit. Easy app to complete paperwork. Office staff that took my call was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our PA via video visit was kind, understanding, thorough, and made us feel comfortable. Our testing party was quick and efficient as was her call to advise of test results. Thank you all for all you do and making our visit a pleasant one. Great job!

We had to do a covid test to travel. I was fearful The nurses made the testing a piece of cake. Highly recommended for covid testing.

- Verified patient on 11/6

I made an appointment from my phone, entered in all my info, got confirmation of a visit time for the next morning, received a text from my phone with a link to join the video chat visit, spoke with a nurse practitioner, then had a covid test at my vehicle window, all within 15 mintues! This was so convenient. The nurses were wonderful.

I went to get a rapid PCR Covid test for travel. It was super fast and efficient! Liz was great on the phone & at check in & Bryan the PA was very nice and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.

After speaking to a car provider, he said he would have some right out. At least half hour later and another car behind me. They get tested first, then I get tested. I called the number on the sign twice. The voice mail on it was full. I had to call into the main building.

Johnna was very kind and easy to talk to! She gave great information regarding Covid guidelines. The lady who came out to do my test (didn't catch her name) was very kind and personable as well! Overall it was a great experience!

Have flu like symptoms, so did a video visit to request a rapid test for Covid-19. No wait time on both video visit and testing. Very quick and convenient and Dr and staff all very professional.

- Verified patient on 12/16

It was all new to me when they sent me back to my car to do everything online. And the app kicked me out with a message that it was “under the weather” or something. But seriously, I was so happy that you provide evening hours and invited me in to physically test things instead of just making an educated guess. After just one dose of medicine prescribed, I was able to sleep for the first time in a couple weeks. I’m absolutely thankful for your professionalism, attention to protocol in dealing with Covid, friendliness, and willingness to use technology to meet the needs of patients!!

I’ve had to go get rapid tests a couple times now for employment and because I have had covid symptoms. The video calls are super convenient and curbside testing is quick and efficient.

Twin Rivers Urgent Care has (in the few times my husband and I have been there) had the utmost care and respect for us. The two times we've been tested at curbside, the health care providers have been very courteous. Best urgent care in Grand Island.

I came in for a rapid Covid test. Everybody was very friendly and efficient and I got it done very quickly and was on my way. Everyone did such a nice job.

- Verified patient on 11/1

I love how quickly I was able to be seen with hardly any notice. I love how yo you can do everything on the app and do a virtual visit and then just pull up and get tested for covid instantly.

- Verified patient on 3/21

The wait time was not terrible but I would like to have know how much longer I had to wait before I was going to be seen. I also didn't know that I could have done the call at home then went to the clinic for the test. Just a lot of unknown. The staff at the clinic were very friendly and accommodating. Called me with my results quickly. Great experience overall.

- Verified patient on 1/17

They did great! From the start of being connected to a virtual visit to talking to someone, then driving up to the window and being tested. I received my results in 10 minutes and they brought me out a note right away for my employer. Thank you to all the staff members, you are doing great!

Denver Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it.
